Yep! They decided they were living together which temporarily screwed up the cage arrangement cuz the cage was not big enough for 4...at their huge size it was barely enough for one pair

uploadfromtaptalk1409019033728.jpg I get rattie kisses all day from my baby grace! When she's tired of giving kisses she hides herself in my shirt close to my chest! 💜

I wanted a Rex so badly but the breeder only had one & it was a male, & I wanted to stick with females until later maybe.

I got lucky. Sterling was my first rescue almost a year ago. He was a "biter" and "not friendly and he was food aggressive"
He was so not he was just never given the chance, no one ever picked him up other then with a glove and only to clean his cage once a week (ish) or to breed a female. They fed him between the bars and he lived alone other then when breeding.

He was super handsome! So very lucky he came into your home where he could be loved.

Its been amazing. I get ratty kisses. When they tire themselves out I get cuddles. I did my research and knew what to expect from them at first & I "let them pick me" instead of vice versa. Most bad beginner experiences I've heard of seem that their rats have come from large chain pet stores like Petco and what have you. I think that has something to do with it.

Yeah pet stores aren't the ideal place to acquire rats. For that reason among others. I'm glad you did things right and really researched everything. Now this is your reward. Sweet girls that love you! It's sure worth it isn't it? =)
