They're not drawing blood when they nip you do they? Some rats just like to grab you and "taste" fingers but as long as it doesn't hurt or wound you it's really nothing to be too concerned about.

But, as the others have said you should give your your lovely ladies their treats when they come to you outside of the cage. And when you do put your hand in the cage do it slowly - show the back of your hand by the cage door and let them sniff you and identify the hand before you stick it in their house.

They look quite young, I'm sure it won't be long before they greet your hand with kisses instead of nips.

Your rats are beautiful. Do many people keep rats as pets in Singapore?

I have family (aunts, uncles and cousins) who live in Malaysia. It's not quite Singapore but certainly not too far away.
