Would turkey giblets be OK for the ratties?

I need some sage (pardon the pun :giggle: ) about this. I will put the turkey neck into the soup, but I thought that the ratties would love to eat the liver and heart. Would it be too rich for them?

Anyone ever done this?

I'm not sure. They say animals' organs can store meds and/or diseases.

Probably not a great idea unless the turkey was free range organic
with all the hormones, etc that animals are given .... like mamarat said, organs are not a good idea
