What about kiwi fruit?

My local grocery had kiwi fruit on sale for 99 cents a bag this week and since I've haven't had kiwi in for so long, we got some I was wondering if kiwi would be safe for my boys? I know they aren't suppose to have oranges, is it because of the high vitamin C? and kiwi has higher vitamin C then oranges. Everywhere I've looked online says it's ok but I want to be sure I'm sure they'd like it and I want to share the kiwi-i-goodness :lol:

Kiwi is fine... in fact, oranges are fine too. :wink:
It's the D-limonene that is bad for rats, which is mostly found in the orange peel but the amount you would need to cause harm to rats is so huge.

I would just make sure that they are ripe or they can cause tummy aches.

It was Food Basics on Cassells St. that had the kiwi on sale, they were ripe but not many in a bag though but for 99 cents was worth it
