Weight before introing babies to teens, adults or seniors

I realise that babies should be around 10 to 12 weeks before physically introducing them to adult rats.
(Earlier intro steps can be started sooner.)

I was wondering if anyone knows how large they should be before physically introducing them to adult rats.
I am finding that baby rats rescued at a young age or before birth, seem to grow large at a younger age then ratties rescued at older ages
... genetics play a role but so does the safe environment and good nutrition both mom and babies recieve.

Wondering how large they should be in case they become large enough sooner ... would like to introduce babies as soon as possible to reduce number of groups.

I don't go by weight, but rather by age. 8 weeks is fine in my opinion, rats are much stronger and better formed by 8 weeks. I check their structure and strength.

In addition to being big enough, you've also got to worry about their developing bone strength - probably why most folks go by age.
