My man and I are flying from Nepean/Ottawa to Saskatchewan for about two weeks to visit family.
We do not have the exact date figured out yet, but we would be gone from about December 18th until January 3-4.
We have friends who are capable of coming over and feeding our darlings, but they would not interact much (they're respectful, but kinda afraid lol), clean their cage, etc... so they're kinda a last resort.
We've never asked for a rat-sitter, so not really sure how to go about doing this.

We have three adult female rats, not spayed: Badger, Nezumi and Freya
They're generally healthy, though Badger has a bit of a URI and is on meds daily.
All are friendly towards humans, though Zumi is extremely vocal, dramatic and occasionally starts fights. We've been trying to correct this, but we're bad at figuring out how the fight started, who is in the wrong, etc. *cough*
We have a single CN, but if you happen to have a spare that would be easier.
They have hammocks and a wheel, we've been using carefresh bedding so it's a bit messy.
We've never left them for longer than a weekend so we're both a bit uneasy about it. :cry: :heart: We haven't even booked our trip yet since we want to make sure they have somewhere to go.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Post here or e-mail at [email protected] if you're able to assist. Christmas is probably the worst time to ask for favours.
