temp, and humidity????

Just wondering if there's an average temp, and humidity range that the room your rats are kept in should remain at?

I couldn't seem to find that on here, and wondered if anyone knew this?

I googled and found this:

Optimal temperature range for these pets is between 65 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit, with a relative humidity of 40 to 70%.

and a change of 5' or more in temp within a 24 hour time period puts a lot of stress on them ... so they may become ill.

thanks guys, the reason I ask is we live up north in 'cottage country', and it gets PRETTY cold here in the winter. Our house is heated with a pellet stove, and a few small portable heaters. It also gets pretty dry with the electric heat, and pellet stove, so i've bought a thermometer, and humidity gauge to monitor they're room.
