Swollen vaginal area?

The area around my rats vagina seems to be somewhat swollen looking. Comparing it to my other girl you can notice there is a difference, since one looks very normal and smooth, and then looking at the other its just swollen. yeah, im repeating myself, just dont know how else to explain it lol. Anyways, she is about 3.5 weeks old. Any idea what it could be? Is it serious?

Female's vaginas will become swollen when they go in heat but I think 3.5 weeks is too young for that to start. If there are no other symptoms like blood or pus, I'd probably leave it alone, maybe check again in a day.

can they get a UTI that young? would that be a symptom?

They could get a UTI... not sure if that's a symptom though. But do watch for loss of appetite, zoning out, lethargy, listless... those could be signs of pain.
