Swollen feet

I just got an email from someone and this is what it says....

my baby rats are in big trouble.there feet became big

Anyone know what enlarged feet mean?


EDIT: Nevermind. I emailed him back for more info and the email bounced back at me. The one that he gave me wasn't real or he typed it in wrong.

Swollen feet could be heart failure, sprains, cellulitis...

Unfortunately, lj did not get the correct email address for this guy as he emailed her from a freewebs form.

We are trying to figure out if he meant the feet were swollen or just "big"... I am betting on awkward baby feet. And if we are talking about a litter of rats, that's be pretty weird for them to all end up with this mystery foot explosion...

I saw a post once with pics about this entire litter with huuuuge swollen feet, they couldn't walk, were in pain, etc. We kept screaming Vet, vet! He kept saying NO Money...they died
