Stewarts Swollen Foot.

Our classroom pet Stewart has a really swollen foot. Vet can't see him until Friday. Worried and wondering if there is something over the counter I can give him until then to help.

Sounds like a bad sprain. Is he using it all (putting it down for balance etc). Is it just pink and swollen or does it have blue/purple streaks? Pink and swollen is more likely to be a bad sprain, streaks could mean a fracture. You can give infant liquid ibuprofen every 4-6 hours to help with pain/swelling, but just for a couple of days until swelling decreases. Any idea how much Stewart weighs?

Soo sorry had some very sick rats and forgot to check here..

IF its still a problem your very big boy (680 g) would get 0.34 ml of infant ibu every 4-6 hrs til the swelling goes down.
