Something about her eye....

So my friend, Amanda, has a rat named Inky. Inky's eye was described to be cloudy and have a navy blue colour to it. Also it has a beige/cream coloured dot in the middle of it. By her tear ducts its all red and watery.

A couple days before it looked like this, her eye was partly shut and looked like it had "sleep" in it. It was red and watery around that eye too.

Amanda has no idea what it is, and I haven't seen her rat to examine her eye. Were asking some fellow jorats to see what they come up with for an answer. Should she take Inky to the vet?

Ya, I would bring the little one to the vet to get it checked out. She will probably need eye drops.

Thanks. Do you have any idea what it might be? She's pretty worried about little Inky.

Im not a vet or anything but it could be an infection and/or irritation from something. Pop to the vets and like Jorats said, she'll probably need eyedrops

Could be a scratch, irritation of some sorts.
