sick rat please help!!!!!

lola has been sick for a week or so and i took her to the vet to get medicine on thursday and only now she’s been able to take it since she’s too lethargic to fight back. she started heavily breathing rather than the slow and deep breathing she was doing before as soon as she took the medicine?! please help shes only 5 months old and i’m really worried

i got given sulfatrim by the way i’ve never had to give give a rat i’ve had antibiotics before so i don’t know what works for what
