Revolution for Pregnant Doe?

I am not 100% sure if the female here is pregnant or not but my gut says she is. However, last night I noticed what looks like the beginning signs of mites. Anyone know if revolution is safe for pregnant rats?

Definitely not. I wouldn't dose a nursing mom until the babies are 3-4 weeks. You might be resorting to oiling her up every week to suffocate the little buggers

Oh boy... It's so hard to watch them with buggies and you can't do anything... oil her up!

I wouldn't hesitate to use Revolution on a pregnant rat, especially in the early stages since she won't be nursing any time soon. I remember looking up the MSDS - there were no observable adverse effects noted on pregnant rats or their pups even with a 10X overdose.

I figure if scientists are going to torture rats with LD50's & NOAEL's we might as well use the information and put it to good use.
