Rat Poetry

Ok... your's truly was an idiot and didn't realize that the poetry contest had a Christmas theme (even though it was posted there. Ok... so I have days where I can't read a simple sentence... :laugh4: )

Nevertheless, I wanted to give everyone a place where they can post their rat poems, rat lyrics or any other poems and lyrics which are fur form related.

perhaps some people wonder
how rats can bring us joy
a fuzzy nose to bring a kiss
from loving girls or boys

You find them in your trousers
they'll sleep inside your shoe
you'll wonder how within a wink
your sock filled out and grew

No point in being clever
They beat us by a mile
for by the time a clue is had
you're free of carpet pyle

Whatever mischief may ensue
of this you can be sure
the paint peeled up from off the hearth
shows their true love for you.

I know of nothing in the world
which quite exceeds the joys
of feeding nuts and cheerios
to my most darling boys.

Aww... I smiled with a swelled heart all thru that
