Hey guys,

Im having a friend make me some tubes / hammocks / cubes and wondering what the best material to use is. I thought fleece, but have been reading the flannel is often used.

Looking at other sites looks like some use fleece for the lining and flannel for the outside.

Does anyone have any recommmendations? Otherwise Im just going to go by what pattern / colors i prefer.

Mine love both fleece and flannel. Fleece shrinks less, and I think that they are a little less likely to chew it, but my rats might be different.

I tend to go by fabric.

If I buy I use fleece, but I use anything around the house for hammocks n such. Denim, sweat pants material, terry cloth, and T-shirts are great.
