question about momma rat

i was wondering , we know for sure that Jackie is a biter mom. She will bit anyone and anything (except other rats) that comes across her path ( my poor cat got the worst of it) how long should it be before she stops that , she used to let me pick her up no problem now she attacks me every time i go to pick her or one of her babies up.

She will likely be fine again once the babies are 3.5 to 4.5 weeks old
