possible mites?

i've noticed small scabs around crissys face and neck, i don't think they're mites because surely i would of seen them?
what else could they be?

That sounds exactly like mites. Mites are not visible to the naked eye.

You need to treat Crissy with Revolution or oral ivermectin.

Yep, I'd say mites too... Revolution will clear her up in a jiffy.

Somebody said on another post (may have been Jo lol) that the red dots you see are from the rat scratching.

Mites are microscopic i think, and not visible to the naked eye. Lice on the other hand, you can see *shudder*
