Playpen becomes cage

When 3 ratties became 5, my cage was too small. So I made a Martin's playpen (small size) into their permanent cage.

It really makes a great cage once you cut in a door and add some shelves, which mamarat had left over from past martin's cages.
It's 44 long, 22 deep, very nice cage for ratties.

I have often wondered about getting a small playpen in case I needed to take ratties on vacation with me. (this would not go over well with my husband, but there may be no option this summer. Melissa will be well over two, and I couldn't easily leave her)

That looks really nice! Spacious and easy to move around.
