I posted pictures of my ratties, now here's pictures of the rest of my zoo:
My ever helpful Zoo Director, Dax. He's not named for the Star trek character, its actually from the word polydactyl. The shelter I adopted him from had named him that. He a male kitty who has 9 extra toes!:
Assistant Zoo Director, Elsa:
Dax and Elsa together:
My dog Collin, Head of Zoo Security, Welcoming Committee, Guided Tours.
I really like to take and post pictures, but I understand download times and some folks might not be too keen about pics of tarantulas, so I'm switching to URL links for faster download times and out of respect of the arachnophobic.
Now for the tarantulas:
My c. cyanopubescens, Esmeralda:

My A. semanni, Snoopy:

One of my baby G. aureostriata, Dig:

I also have some N. chromatus G. rosea, N. colloratovillosus, and B. albopilosum spiderlings that I am raising. My brother breeds them, so once or twice a year, I'll get a phone call or IM from him asking if I'm going to be home the next day to receive an overnight package. I already know what it is and ask "how many and how big are they?"
The betta fish next:
Big Red:

Now for the Hermit Crabs! I have about 50 of 5 different species of Land Hermit Crabs. These are different than the ones you find in the marine aquariums. They drown if underwater for too long because they breathe air through modified gills.
Here's some pictures of a few of my C. clypeatus, or Purple Pinchers. I have ones that are as small as a dime to as large as a baseball:

The only species available in the US that I don't currently have is the C. Cavipe. They are pretty rare here.
