So Wylie was intro'd to the cage, and then Wylie was taken out of the cage? The cage dynamic has changed. When you intro'd Wylie, they went through the whole pecking order, and everyone had found [roughly] their place in things. Now that Wylie is gone, they're having to sort it all out again.

We are seeing a whole new cage dynamic with the death of the alpha last month. My boys have always been very peaceful, but chaos now rules! They squabble and pick with one another. Looks far worse than it is.

They should soon settle down, every time there's a new rat, this can happen. Even having new rat smells can set them off.
While Wylie did not stay, they did have to work out a new pecking order while he was there. When you try to add a new rat to the cage or just to the house, everyone has to figure out where they stand all over again. Sometimes you don't even need to add another rat, someone will just decide he wants to be in a different position and will try for it. It leads to squabbles and little fights. With Wylie gone, the order's changed again, so they're sorting it all out again. It's all perfectly normal.
