Mirrors?

Hey, newbie here, I have been wondering for a little while now, Do rats like mirrors. I know bird are often fond of them and like them in their cage, but what about rats, I have an extra locker mirror lying around and I want to know if the ratties would like it in their cage? Or will is scare the living daylights out of them ? :? Thanks, this site has been so helpful to me, and now that I've read all these posts , I've learned so many things and I'm sure my ratties will have a better home because of all the great advice and information on this website. When I get hem, I will be sure to post up pictures : )

It is doubtful, but you could always try it. He/she may see it as a challenge from another rat, depending on how well they can see.

Yeah, that's kinda what i thought, maybe I will just show it to them at their put of cage time, but I dunno. Ha ha it was just a thought, Thanks : )

I've put one in my boys cage before and they could have cared less for it.
Yours may be different though

I've tried it too but they just ignored it and it got full of pee. lol

Same with mine, didn't pay any attention to it. But I think it's because they really can't see that well in the first place.
