Learning tricks on their own?

So Pandora showed me something new today. Apparently whenever you put a cat toy ball in front of her, she takes it and puts it in her bowl. Then she stares at you and waits for a treat. Now keep in mind I purchased her from Petsmart and to my knowledge she's no previous owners (save for my bf and he didn't teach her anything).

Aren't our furkids quirky?!
Btw. She's currently being treated for lice and doing MUCH better.

Rats really are quirky but... I've found that all of mine love to put their toys in their food bowls. I think they are trying to hide their food. silly rats.
