Joy's foot - all better now

Joy's foot was injured earlier this month.
It is back to normal now ...
Joy was on metacam for about 5 days to help with pain and to reduce the swelling.
She was also on antibiotics at the time (baytril and zithro) for respir problems and they may have played a part in her foot healing as well.

Thought I would share this as foot problems can look very frightening.
This picture of Joy's swollen foot was taken on October 10.

I have no idea what happened ...
It was horribly swollen and purple ...
The picture was taken after the swelling had gone down quite a bit. Earlier pictures did not turn out.

well glad it healed up nice! i'm sure that was a scary surprise!

Foot, leg spraines and bruising is so common in rats.
Good for Joy for being all better now. :joy:
