it's been a harsh year

December 31, 2007, my beloved rat Wynter passed away. Apparently he had gotten sick and died. I spoke to a friend who helped me raise him correctly, and she told me that her rat, Salem, had lived to be only a year old as well.

I miss my Wynter, and he may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.
