Is Roo really a Double Rex?

I'm starting to think that Roo may not be a double rex. As the days go by, his coat seems to keep filling in.
He came from a litter of eight, and he was the only one to look like he does. But he had much less hair when I got him over a week ago.
Here are some photos from this morning.
What are your thoughts? Is he a double rex or not?

he almost looks like hes partially hairless.... hes definatly a double rex, he is adorable.

I'd say double rex for sure, unless he loses that coat. If he was a rex, he'd have way more hair.

I would definatly say that you have a double rex on your hands, er shoulder! A very good looking boy!!

He's so sweet. From what I know, doub;e rexes can get back their hair then lose it again, and go back and forth. So I'm agreeing and going with double rex. But he sure is sweet.
