Introduction (Younger to Older rat) questions!

Do just a few days make a difference when introducing younger to older rats?

I need to clean out the cage the babies are in, but I didn't want to waist bedding on that, if I was just going to take the cage down a couple days later (If it all works out)

Can I introduce them today even though they don't turn 8 weeks old until Saturday?

You will need more than one day for intros anyway. Most intros go on for about a week. Good luck with your sweeties.

Yes .... intros usually go on for a week ... or longer
Sometimes much much longer, depending upon the rats

There are established, gradual steps to follow and they take time
unless all rats are under 12 weeks, then it is very simple and easy
