How to force socialize?

My rats still wont socializing with me i need a guide to force socializing. I have had them for like 3 weeks now.

Whenever I get new babies and they are very skittish, I will throw on a tshirt and a sweatshirt. I then place the rats in between and I will keep them there for over an hour. I do this several times a day and it always works wonders after a week of this.

I will read or watch tv. I don't go on the computer cause I usually pet them and play with them so it would be kind of hard to type. lol
