How much would you pay for a SCN?

My boyfriend and I are thinking about upgrading our single critter nation. We could a)Buy the add on which is actually more expensive than buying a single. b) Buy a second single and somehow transform it and my SCN into one big cage or C) Buy a double and sell the single.

How much would you pay for a critter nation? And/or Which option do you think is best?

I paid $200 for my double. Wouldn't pay much more than $100 for the add-on.
Don't know how many rats you have Trihkal...would it be worth getting a huge cage... Cuz I only have 2 and so a triple wouldn't be worth it..

I usually find buying a double is cheaper than the other options. I do believe you can add your single to the double and make it a triple.

I would buy the double and disassemble the single and store it.
You can never have too many cages.

You can add singles onto each other, they just won't have the cut out level. It actually works really well if you want to keep groups of rats separate. I've had the ladder fall down a couple times so I keep them zip tied if I want to keep groups separate.
