So one of my male rats escaped his cage and climbed onto the girls cage with out me knowing and got attacked by one of the female rats on his foot. It looks as if one of his nails has come off and caused quite a bit of bleeding. The bleeding has stopped and I can see a nail has gone. I can't get to a vets until the morning as it's really expensive to see an emergency vet, but I have metacam on hand and was wondering how much can I give to him. He weighs about 350-360 grams I believe. I tried to weigh him but it was hard and the metacam is 1.5mg/ml solution. He seems okay in himself and I know rats are good at hiding pain so was hoping to give him some off that. Anything else that I can do in the mean time to help please let me know.
