I have a device known as an Avanti XLT. (It's used in urology.) It was a salesmans sample so was never really used and is in mint condition and comes with a custom fit rolling tote. It's the base system only, the tubing, pumps, etc. that attach to it aren't included. It's fully loaded with the software required for urology testing.

I'm sure there's a hospital in a 3rd world county who would love to get their hands on this but I can't find out who or how.

The only place I've found that would want something like this is a urology charity in England called Urolink. I've found no equivalent type of outfit in Canada or the U.S.

Anyone got ideas for me? I hate to send this machine to get shredded into $5 worth of metals and plastic in our waste electronics recycling programme.

Looks like this:

Doctor's without Borders? Maybe contact sick kids hospital, they have lots of over seas contacts and so on.

Maybe service groups like the Kiwanis Club or Knights of Columbus would have ideas?

My youngest brother in law's health problems keep my mom in touch with lots of people in the medical community. Maybe she'd have an idea....

Sucks eh? Some kid somewhere starves to death while just 1 restaurant here or there throws out leftovers that would feed his whole family (maybe even their whole little village) everyday... :cry3: ---But without contraception help all those newly healthy people would produce more and they'd still be in the same boat eventually.. No, I'm not cruel or controlling, just don't think it's right to save a generation to starve another. Definitely not right to have a child starve to death when the best of food is being thrown in the garbage here tho. But why are children & adults going hungry in your city? We/They don't want someone else's leftovers. The 3rd world might if a nest of ants is a good day's shopping.

Bless you for not tossing it cause you don't need it. And going to the trouble of finding who does need it. Everything's so disposable in our world, People in the 3rd world sure would be if not for individuals who make them their lives, and love & look after them, like we do our ratties when others think individuals aren't worth it cause they're are so many more in the world...
