Hi I am new to Rat Shack Forums and thought it would be useful tool in helping me care for my soon to be baby rat. I have owned rats in the past and found that when you have a group to help you out when thing go bad makes a world of difference. Thank for having me here and hope to learn much more about pet Rats.

Don't want to sound like I'm jumping on you but make sure you get 2 baby rats. Rats really need company, they love having other ratties around.

When getting two rats, make sure they are the same sex.
Also, you may want to consider rescue rats.
