Hi,
I'm whirlytwirly (Tracy). I'm new to this board. I found it through la_marée_haute who posted on the AUSRFS forum about her poor little mite Albin.
I live near Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia. I have lots of pet rats and mice. All of my rats have joined my family from petshops. I know the arguments about buying rats from petshops but my theory is they can't help being born pet shop rats. I've also been given quite a few from people that were going to sell them as reptile food.
I currently have 75. At least 40 are the children of rats that have come to my home already pregnant. They all live in my rather large laundry. I've had quite a few come to me in pretty bad condition. I love giving cuddles and love and watching terrified traumatised rats morph into happy bouncy cuddle bugs.
I look forward to meeting more rat loving people! (they're rather rare around where I live)
