Hi all I'm new here and new to rats. my bf introduced me to them, he owned two male rats when we started dating they have since passed away RIP Hammer and Thor.
I was in the pet store (bad place to buy them i now know but i didn't know about rat shelters at the time) one day at saw this handsome rat and when i got to hold him i saw he was blind in one eye and new right there that if i didn't take him he would become a feeder, and i couldn't let that happen so i bought him right there and then.
the next day i realized he needed a friend so i went that day and bought another rat out of the same litter.
they have become a major part of mine and my bf's life and they also get along great with my two cats (one i owned before the rats the other i got after them)
i am so happy i found this great place to talk all about this beautiful creatures
