Hi there! My name is Gabby, but I also go by the names of Riff and Lady Shamisen, and I seem to be doing all I can to be BIG in the rat world (which may be going awry as, due to eating copious amounts of chocolate, I seem to be getting big in the human world :( )
Anyway, you may/may not have heard of Lady Shamisen before as I run the Vermin-Realm site which I know some people here have seen as I've seen a Ratmood being used as an avvie :D and also I came here via my usage stats which shows that people have also seen the LolRats site!! And if you've heard of Naughty Little Riff's blg - that was mine too. And the rodent rebels cartoon (although the site needs a fix-up!!)

And I have 6 boys who I loooove - I hope you like them:

Welcome, Riff!!! I am so excited :bounce: :bounce: to see you here. Ever since I saw your wonderful video, Party at the Rainbow Bridge, I have wanted to thank you for making it. When I saw the name Riff, I thought "I wonder if that's Lady Shamisen?" and it was!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome :) everyone here has been so nice I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy, and all my manrats are very pleased to have had so many compliments.

Jorat - yuh-huh, all the websites take a lot of time :) which is why they are updated so sporadically. I try to do lolrats everyday - I usually fail though!

Mamarat and Willowbean - well, Pocket (or Pocky, as he's more generally known ;) ) is such a lazy bum I have about 20 pics of him yawning like that :)

LA - well, here's the site run-down :) :

http://www.vermin-realm.com is my main site. Most of the other sites can be found there as links if ever you forget the addresses. It's a work in progress - eventually I want it to be huuuuge, with zillions of links to rat-sites, a big photo gallery, lots of fun stuff and rat art and information and ratkeeping information. So - yeah! Most of the site still has a lot of work to do, so don't be surprised if you go to a page and the link isn't working or the page is empty... In my ideal world my website would earn me money and I could work on it as a job. But in an ideal world there would be a lot of things, wouldn't there :) It's also a personal site so you can see lots of rattie pictures and I have a blog about keeping rats which I try to keep funny (we were struck with SDA last year losing, eventually, 4 rats so that time isn't particularly funny :( - SDA is pretty rare in the UK) But I'll take you on a highlight tour :)

This is a forum for Rats only :) - it's very new but the idea is to create a ratty fursona and go in and just pretend to be a rat - naughty, good, articulate or just silly. It might sound daft but it's loads of fun and a really great way to relax and forget that you're an adult for a while - and NO ONE will judge you :) If anyone wants to join they are most welcome!

Riiiight - well, this is the website I've registered because I have written a series of children's books about three rats - Smurt, Snitch and Dervel - and I hope to get them published. In the meantime, the site shows their cartoons adventures which are a little more adult - though not very rude. The site is really scruffy though so I will re-do it soon.
