Hi, Im a new-ish rat owner.
I've had one of my rats, pippin, since she was about four months old. I rescued her four months ago, so she is about eight months old. Just tonight, I got another rat, a very young female. I believe she is only about 6-8 weeks. The main reason I'm joining this forum is to get some advice on the intro process. I have already researched different methods but I would like to hear any firsthand advice you other rat owners may have.

Girls are generally easier to introduce than boys. I'm not sure what the appropriate age would be to let the little one be around Pippin. Hopefully some others will weigh in soon!
