Fur type

What type of fur would you say Jazmine has? Her whiskers are straight and seems to be loosing her fur. So I know she is not a rex and is not a standard, what else is there?

Could be a velveteen... my Maggie was a velveteen... her coat and whiskers changed.. sometimes her whiskers were very straight, then they'd go just a little bent and then almost curly.

Jaz's hair is kind of course. But Rose is a rex, sort of she has wavy fur but is nothing compared to some of the ones I have seen that you guys have. Rose also has wavy whiskers and I would say her fur is softer than Jaz's.

I think Jaz is just a mutt :lol:

Poor rex or velveteen. She is adorable. They often start to "thin" at an early age...their fur clumps together unlike a standard and you can see down to the skin. Kizzy at 14 months is thinning too.

My first guess was a velveteen too. Guinness is a velveteen.

I think she is a poor rex. She is 14 months and is thinning as well.

My two are poor rexes and look pretty similar to her. I think her fur is a touch longer but I may be making that up.

Yes, Jaz's fur is kind of long. My Rose is a poor rex as well.
