Why is there a hole in the front of the pan on the second level? Will that affect whether people can keep much litter in there?

It looks like that would be to allow for the doors. Now that I take a closer look - the pan does appear to be a trifle on the shallow side. Would it be a slide-in pan?

It's still a very handsome looking cage, though!

My only concern with the cage is that the pan doesn't look any deeper... The opening for the ladder shows how easy it would be for litter and bedding to be thrown here and there.

Other than that, the cage looks great!! I agree, I hope that Rat Nation looks like that!
