My little girl like to dig... A lot... And my poor plants are suffering from it. I was gonna get a bag of something from the pet store. They have all different kind of sands and stuff for reptile habitats. Suggestions on what would be safe for her to dig in. They also had shredded coconut shell.. I didn't want anything too dusty. And I figured most of the dirt I could buy at homedepot has fertilizers in it...

Some people use soil that has been microwaved and if free of any fertilizers/pesticides, and some buy chinchilla dust. When they dig in your plants, be careful, because nearly all of the household plants we like are toxic to some extent.

What about something like that cat litter made of walnut shells? The texture is kind of like small pebbles. It's natural/non-toxic so you could even hide little treats in it for her to dig for.

Thank you guys for all the ideas! [emoji1]
