I wanted to post this so other people could be aware and know what to do. I was at the vets and as you know Hazel was dehyrated last week. The vet pinched the back of her neck and turned and it took a long time to go back to it's original place. So the vet injected her with fluid. So I had to go pick up the doxy so I asked the vet what I could give her to put fluid back into her. So she suggested apple juice. So I got the baby apple juice and gave it to her through the syringe and she took it like a champ. She loved it. So I plan on doing it twice or three times a day so I can get her feeling better. The baytril didn't work at all this time so she's feel like crap and not drinking. So if you rat is not feeling well, keep checking for dehydration.
