Children's Benadryl - dosing help?

The vet thinks adding benadryl may be a good step to getting Bean and 'Lina breathing smoothly again, so...

I'm working with 12.5 mg of diphenhydramine HCl per 5 mL. So 2.5 mg/mL.

How much for a ~ 250 gram rat?

Replying to myself... if I'm reading the guides correctly, she needs 0.5 mg for her weight, which would be approximately 0.2 mL. Is my math okay? Could someone please double check for me? I don't want to accidentally give my girls too much.

If you go with the 2mg/kg, then that would be right.
