Boys in R-695

I know the R-695 says it can hold 5 rats...I've only ever had 4 boys in mine. I know boys need a bit more space, does anybody have a R-695 with 5 boys in it? Do they get along Ok?

I've had R695 for a long time and it all depends on how well the boys get along, how much out time they get and also if you have smaller boys. I wouldn't put more than 4 big squishes in a 695.

I have a 695 and I wouldnt put more than 4 boys in it, I have had 5 gals in mine at one time and that was plenty. All depends on what you do with your space as well. But I would say 5 is a guesstimate, 4 big boys or 5/6 small gals.

*Correction* I have 2 boys in there at the moment, hope to have my 4 in there down the road*

Yeah I think 4 is the limit too. My boyfriend wanted to push the envelope, but I didn't think it was a good idea. 4 seems to be just the right number of males.
