Jess currently has 1 rat, and is planning on getting Obama a buddy in the near future.

Casting my vote for the 695. The RUUD is just too big for many people, so I hear.

I've never had neither because I don't have the room but based on a little research I like the r695 because of it's size and design, I don't like the ruud's height, it looks too hard to clean :shock:

I also voted for the 695 because it is moveable enough that you can take it into the shower and clean it off... It is a great cage, and roomy enough even with 4 rats in it.

yeah, for 2 rats, the R-695 is perfect.

I have the RUUD, and it is a huge PITA.

I have a ferret nation as well, but we just moved, so it is in storage because his moms cat tries to reach threouggh the bars.


(we are staying at his moms until she gets back from Germany in May)
