Baby Nail biter!

[font=][/font]I have a baby PEW that seems to think it just great to chew on my finger nails! Every time I put my hand in her cage to get her out she directly goes for the finger nails! She does not bite the skin or anything. She is very careful about just chewing the nails. I've never had another rat do this... curious if anyone else has a rattie similar? :giggle:

A nail cleaner, not a nail biter. It's totally normal behaviour.

OH yes, I have many rats who are constantly trying to give me manicures...it's when they go for the toes that I protest! LOL

Thanks...i've only ever had older rats before and she is the first to do this. Kinda freaked me out the first time! haha

I don't mind the manicures so much -- it's when they absolutely insist on cleaning my teeth that I protest to! :giggle:

I take that back. I had babies for a short period of time about 8 years ago. Still never had this happen before.
It's cute.... even the older girl is doing it now! I guess the little ones are rubbing off on her! :giggle:
