Ah dangit! My boys chew through their hammocks too and become board of their toys. I move the toys around their cage hanging off the bars at a safe height. Sometimes thin thin layer of peanut butter on the toys are fun for them too! *Following about the hammock situations for little chewers 🤷🏼‍♀️🐀

Rat needs antibiotics, anti-inflammatory as well. Try baby food, it's a cereal made from rice. Packed with nutrients (watch out for over doing iron), look for low iron in it as ratty is much smaller in weight than a baby and iron can do more harm than good in high doses. I used plane rice baby...

Also, if you decide to buy ratty a new friend, may I suggest getting two new friends(a sibling pair), that way if it fails - the new rats still have each other and u won't be left with two rats that aren't mingling.

I feed mine oxbow. Each kibble is the se size and texture and I assume taste too(haven't tried lol). I've given them other foods with different shapes and bits but they would always not eat it all and just pick through it. Oxbow for the win I guess 🐀🤓
