Hello!

I have been Christmas shopping and there is this specific thing that I can only get in the US and they will not ship to Canada.... is there someone on the Shack who lives in the USA and could receive the package, and then mail it to me in Canada? :stickpoke:

I will of course cover all the fees involved and may give you like $5 or $10 for going through the trouble for me. I know it's a weird request, and I know there are businesses that do that, but I thought I'd give the Shack a shot first, since I know I can trust some of you. So if you'd be able to help out a fellow shacker, please let me know! I would be so grateful!

You will be paying huge brokerage fees unless it is under a certain amount.
If you drive things over the boarder you will not have to pay brokerage fees.
Because of this, many have things mailed to places just over the boarder and drive them across.
If the items were made in the US, then there is no duty either, just hst.

You can avoid the hefty brokerage fees by using USPS - United States Postal Service. If you use any other service for shipping parcels over the border you are in for a bad time.
