For the past few nights my rats have been enjoying a new fun activity... so normally my 4 monsters have their free range on the couch but I could tell they were growing bored on the same old routine.
I managed to get salvage x3 5inch wide by 8-10feet long tubes from our local recycling center they were addressed to a local window blind trade so they are in good condition and clean. I cut them down to approx 4feet-ish with a hand saw and now during free range I place one tunnel/tube from the cage to the coffee table and the other from the coffee table to the couch... my rats love running through the tubes it's great fun for them. The boys have even discovered they don't need to go through the tube they can run along the top.
Here's some picture's I thought I'd share.
Here's a picture taken from the couch (excuse the slight mess lol)

LOL! Rats love tunnels more than anything except peas. Yours look so happy.

Bet they'd also like a Ferrett Tunnel (avail at martins cages.com), which is flexible and transparent and stretches up to 20'.

Love the photos. :)

That looks great! Beautiful rat babies  That ferret tunnel punctured my finger!!! I had it in the ball pit and was squeezing it to get it out and the wire went into my finger - VERY painful and blood everywhere! So be careful with that thing.....

What happy babies! And, I LOVE that last photo of Shyone smiling out of the tunnel with that big happy sweet face! I would like to nominate that photo for RPOM please! That is one happy sweetheart!

Thank you everyone for your kind comments.
Also thank you Godmother for the suggestion of the Ferret tunnel (it kinda reminds me of a tumble dryer tube lol) I can't seem to find a seller in the uk for a see through flexible tunnel. I have the boredom breaker pop up tunnel but my ratties dont seem to like the material.
dspch911 thank you for the heads up regarding the tunnel wire I will bare that in mind if I can get one.
