So nothing much had changed this evening, Everyone came out to play and while Rayo looks bigger there was no personality change. We added extra paper towels into the nesting material box, put the girls back and got the boys out. We kept looking but they left the paper towels alone. A couple hours later when I checked every single one of the paper towels was in the litterbox but Rayo was hanging out in the tunnel still.http://[URL=http://s1204.photobucket.com/user/Greyday87/media/Mobile%20Uploads/0427162220_zpsuhszyti1.jpg.html]

I bet she was not a happy camper in that tub was she? That cage would be fine as a maternity cage mostly. Small bar spacing at least. I don't think you'll need the tub
She mostly went to sleep this time, but no she probably won't be a happy camper! So just the cage? Should I leave the shelves out?? I thought most people did tubs? Thanks for your response
My rescue Moms get smaller superpet My First Homes, without hammocks and shelves, no house, but tons of paper towel and fleece strips to make their nest
We have babies ☺️☺️🙂🙂
Looks like so far 5 healthy little squeekers, though I haven't moved her nest around yet to check on more. Everyone has a milk band🙂. She let me pet her head with no problem.
I forgot to add Vestas weight, she's not a fan of the scale but she was 350 yesterday. So she gained 1g, is she just doing normal growth? How much weight gain indicates pregnancy?
So I don't know if it was an issue with the scale or what happened but Vesta only weight 325g tonight and her stomach does not seem round. No babies, and I checked all the nesting material and did not see any blood.
So I really have no idea what's going on with Vestas weight, this morning it was 369? I had thought she wasn't pregnant, I only weighed her again because her nipples are more obvious and she looks rounder. Could she just be in heat or about to be in heat?? Or is pregnancy still an option? This is week 2 of us having her.
No idea re her weight changes but she sounds pregnant
Gestation is about 21.5 days (and longer for back to back pregnancies) so yes, she could be pregnant
If she is in the last week of pregnancy, then there will likely be a steady weight gain and she will start to look very pregnant ..... if she is pregnant, I hope it is a very small healthy litter and that mom does well.
