Friday I went out of town and got back today so I had someone house sit and watch over the animals while I was gone for the night. When I left they were all happy and being there normal selves but today when I came home of course I went to check on them and the younger boys were freaked out! I was only gone for about 24 hours so I am thinking something must of fallen over and crashed into the cage and scared them or something since nothing else has really changed. Is this normal? I let them be for today hoping they will be settled down by the time I get home in the morning but has this happened to anyone before?

It may be nothing more than the sudden change in their routine, you being gone longer than normal.
It would be esp unnerving if you keep to a fairly regular routine. They will know something is different.
I wouldn't worry, they will likely be back to their normal selves in no time

A change in routine can do this. I bet they go back to normal soon enough.
