securing lining for martins cage

Is there any way I can secure my fleece lining to the levels of my Martins cage?
They bunch the entire thing under their igloo right away, even if I give them a blanket. Kinda defeats the purpose. :roll:

I just make a knot at each end of the blanket.

When I had my Martins, I would pull a bit of the fleece out of the cage and clip it with a binder clip.

I used heavy duty safety pins.

I personally use safety pins too, big dirty ones. Every once in a while they REALLY want to move a blankie, though... and then just chew the blanket away from the safety pin entirely.

I tried knots right away due to an absence of both safety bins and binder clips. I'd like to try those methods too for sure to see which ones I like the best. I can't wait!
