Hello all. My two-and-a-half year old rat had a tumor removed from his armpit a couple days ago. He tore out some of the stitches the first night so I took him back in and they put him in a wrap so he couldn't get to it. His wound looks a little concerning to me (see picture). His behavior seems fairly normal, other than the fact that he's stressed about the wrap. He's eating, but less than he usually does. I haven't seen him drink water in over twelve hours. Do you think the wound looks infected? They didn't give me antibiotics, just an anti-inflammatory and some pain medicine. Please give me your thoughts, I'm really not sure about this.
